Why This Academy Exists

Senryoku Martial Arts Academy exists to preserve and transmit karate as bujutsu—a serious martial discipline grounded in mechanics, structure, balance, and ethical self-protection. It is not a sport program and not a commercial belt system.

After decades of training and years of teaching within institutional constraints, I am now establishing an independent academy so this work can be taught fully, without compromise.

A Note on Patronage

Some individuals may wish to support the long-term preservation and transmission of serious martial study beyond the academy's immediate startup needs.

There is no expectation to do so—but there is room for it.

Exceptional patronage is applied toward permanence of location, infrastructure, scholarships, and the preservation of traditional martial knowledge taught through modern mechanical understanding. Such support is acknowledged respectfully and without spectacle, consistent with the values of budō.

Scholarship Provision

Certain donor levels include the option to designate their tuition benefit as a scholarship for another student.

Scholarships may be applied to full or partial tuition and are intended to support individuals who demonstrate seriousness, discipline, and alignment with the academy's training ethos.

Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of Senryoku Martial Arts Academy and do not guarantee enrollment. All scholarship recipients must meet the same training and conduct standards as other students.

This academy is being built carefully, deliberately, and without debt—so it can endure.

If you value serious martial training, discipline, and the preservation of authentic budō, your support helps make this possible.
